Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This policy explains how The Local Carpet Cleaners LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use this website, and the choices you have. By using the website you agree to the practices described here.
What the quote form collects
When you request a quote, we collect your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, details about your rug (type and approximate size), the services you are interested in, and any message you write. We also note which page of the site you sent the form from.
We use this information to respond to you, prepare a quote, schedule pickup and delivery, and provide the service you ask for.
Where form submissions are stored
Quote requests are sent to and stored in HubSpot, the customer management service we use. HubSpot is a third-party service provider that processes this information on our behalf. If you have visited our site before, HubSpot may use a cookie to connect your request to earlier visits.
Quote requests are also stored securely in our website database, provided by a service provider, alongside HubSpot.
Photos
We do not receive files through the website form. After you send a request, we reply by email, and you may send photos of your rug by email if you choose. Photos you email are used only to assess your rug and quote the work.
Usage data
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of your visit. We use it to keep the site running and secure.
Advertising and measurement
We use the Meta Pixel to measure how well our ads perform. It uses cookies and similar technologies to record, for example, that a visitor who saw one of our ads later viewed our pages or sent a quote request. Meta receives this information, such as pages viewed, your browser details and IP address, under its own privacy policy. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the Meta Pixel loads only after they accept cookies in our banner, and they can change their choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. We may also use Google Ads conversion tracking for the same purpose.
You can opt out by:
- Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings.
- Turning off ad personalization in Google Ads Settings.
- Adjusting your Meta ad preferences.
Embedded video
Our introduction video is hosted on YouTube. It loads from youtube-nocookie.com only when you press play. Until then, no content is requested from YouTube. Once it plays, YouTube's privacy policy applies.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (such as hosting and HubSpot), in connection with a merger or sale of the business, or where required by law or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to meet legal obligations and to resolve disputes. Technical usage data is kept for a shorter period unless needed for security.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@thelocalcarpetcleaners.com. We may need to keep certain information where the law requires it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
Children's privacy
This website is not directed to anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our site may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date above will be updated.
